With the help of talented musician friends, we make music. Dan is a gold and platinum level audio engineer and stellar base player.  Jo is a singer / songwriter and plays rhythm guitar and keyboard. 

Our upcoming single release Cactus Breeze is a soulful journey. 

Imagine trekking across the desolate desert alone. A wind is blowing with enough force to carry the needles from the nearby Prickly Pear Cacti. They, like loneliness, sting and stay with you. After a while, you stop at a little cafe. A waitress dressed in black brings your order with a forlorn look and a lonely smile. You identify. Loneliness. You’ve both been seized by the sting of a cactus breeze.

Cactus Breeze was written by Jo Vickers (aka Jo Wilburn), Dan Wilburn, and Mark Tokach. The music came first, a guitar track instigated and originated by Dan and Mark. Mark had named it Cactus Breeze. Jo thought the name fit the mood and wrote the lyrics and melody around that title to fit the music. Later, she learned that Mark used that name because it’s the street he lives on, meaning this is from Cactus Breeze. Happy coincidences.

Cactus Breeze is scheduled to release on May 14th, and can be pre-saved around May 1st. Available on all streaming platforms.
